Professor Steve Wyatt
Prof. Stephen (Steve) Wyatt is the founder and lead consultant at Corporate Rebirth.
Prof Steve invests himself in the success of clients. His passion and mission is to help leaders to thrive, to identify, pursue and achieve their aspirations for themselves, their enterprises and their communities.
He directs the work of Corporate Rebirth ensuring that we listen to and configure our support around your unique situation. He combines academic rigour with practical experience; recognising that 'nothing changes unless behaviour changes' and behaviour change is step-wise, starting from right where you are now.
An accomplished consultant in Strategy, Leadership and Transformation. Steve was previously Regional Managing Partner of Monitor Group (Monitor Deloitte) and with Heidrick & Struggles (Leadership Consultancy) in the Asia-Pacific region. He has also taken on senior corporate roles in client organisations e.g. Asia-Pacific Marketing Director at Ingersoll-Rand.
As an entrepreneur he has established several companies; in apparel trading, real-estate, PR, education as well the most notable – the introduction of the sport of polo in mainland China (Nine Dragons Hill Polo Club)……. inaugurating the official 'Gold Cup' international tournament in China in 2006, a venture which he scaled quickly and eventually sold in 2012. He has also ridden around the world on a motorcycle!
He currently holds the post of Professor of Leadership at the University of Bath, UK, through which he conducts his research. He is author of four books, the two most recent being 'Antidote to the Crisis of Leadership' (April 2024, Degruyter) and 'Management & Leadership in the 4th Industrial Revolution' (Nov. 2020, Kogan Page).
Prof Steve has extensive international experience, including having been based in Asia for 25 years.
Whilst retaining responsibility for client outcomes, Steve draws on an extensive network of colleagues and partner entities to configure the best support for each specific client, reflecting the location, sector and the issues being addressed.
